1. General Donation Policy

  • All donations made to our organisation are voluntary and are intended for charitable use. As such, they are generally non-refundable once processed.
  • Donations are used promptly for programmes, operations or projects for which they were intended.

2. Exceptional Refund Situations

We may consider a refund only in rare circumstances, such as:

  • A duplicate transaction was made in error by the donor.
  • The donation was made without the donor’s authorisation (e.g., fraudulent payment).
  • We are legally obligated to refund (for example, where funds cannot be used as intended and cannot be redirected).

3. How to Request a Refund

    • Your full name and contact information
    • Date of donation
    • Transaction/Reference ID
    • Amount donated
    • Reason for the request
  • Requests must be made within 15 calendar days of the donation, unless special circumstances apply.
  • We will review your request and respond within 30 days. If approved, refunds will be processed using the same method as the original donation, unless otherwise agreed.

4. Processing & Deduction

  • If a refund is approved, transaction fees, bank charges or currency conversion costs may be deducted from the refund amount.
  • We reserve the right to decline a refund request at our discretion, especially once funds have been committed to a project or consumed in programme delivery.

5. No Refund for Regular Programme Fees or Voluntary Contributions

  • For event registrations, programme fees, or membership contributions, specific terms may apply (stated at time of registration).
  • Unless specified, these are also non-refundable once the programme has commenced.

6. Changes to this Policy

  • We reserve the right to revise this Refund Policy at any time. We will post updates on our website and the new version is effective immediately upon posting.
